Pathways of Discovery: How art making shifts the landscape of adoption.

This workshop will offer a new lens in looking at adoption experiences through creative expression.
Art experiences are designed to support the exploration of one’s adoption identity, relational and family patterns and healing adoption wounds. Healing in adoption will be the focus of the group experience.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn how images inform, guide, communicate and heal. Art therapy skills will be provided on the following: how to keep an art and healing journal, how to match art media with emotional expression, and how to see the meaning in art images, symbols, completed pictures or clay forms.
Lee Crawford is a RCC( Registered Clinical Counsellor) and a ATR,BCATR( Registered Art therapist in Canada and the US).
